This year, the Evolv I.T. team joined alongside 150 chili-cooking contenders as the “Chili Servers” to sponsor The Exceptional Foundation’s 20th annual Chili Cook-Off. With 13,000 attendees joining to eat delicious chili, this day was filled with an atmosphere of community spirit and support.

In 2023, the Evolv I.T. team prepared for this event by hosting its first annual Chili Cook-Off Competition! Drew Tyler, our Service Desk Manager, was crowned champion with his delicious "Conecuh County Chili." Pete Sansing, Director of Procurement, and Allen Byrd, Service Delivery Coordinator, came in second and third for the best chili!

After his victory in our internal Chili Cookoff, Drew earned the honor of representing Evolv I.T. at the 2024 Exceptional Foundation’s Chili Cook-Off.
At the event, our booth quickly became busy, as we served bowl after bowl of our homemade chili with excitement. The crowd loved our chili’s unique blend of flavors and spices, and plenty of Conecuh sausage!

Our team enjoyed connecting with the Birmingham community, and everyone who stopped by felt our vibrant energy, securing us 3rd place in the Spirit Award category! It was a testament to the heart and soul we poured into our participation and a reflection of the support and camaraderie we experienced throughout the day.
