TailWinds Technologies LLC DBA Evolv IT ("Evolv IT," "we," "us," or "our") provides managed IT, cybersecurity, AI governance, and technology advisory services. Our address is 1728 3rd Ave N, Suite 400, Birmingham, AL 35203.
This policy covers personal information handled through evolv.us, our inquiry and assessment forms, surveys, newsletters, website chat, recruiting forms, marketing communications, and requests for vendor quotes. Separate signed service agreements, confidentiality agreements, data-processing terms, or business associate agreements may govern information we process for clients. This website policy does not replace those agreements.
Please provide accurate information and share another person's information only if authorized. Do not send passwords, payment account numbers, protected health information, or other sensitive records through public forms or chat. Those channels are not intended for confidential client records or emergency support.
We do not sell your personal information or rent contact lists. Using information for Evolv IT's own permitted marketing is different from selling it. We do not authorize quoting vendors to use information we disclose for unrelated or independent marketing.
Service providers: We use providers for hosting, customer relationship management, scheduling, chat, communications delivery, analytics, and security. These include GoHighLevel/LeadConnector for contact management and website chat, Google Tag Manager and tools configured through it, and our hosting and messaging providers. They process information to support the services we authorize, subject to applicable terms and law. We do not authorize their use of SMS subscriber information for independent marketing.
Requested vendor quotes and services: If you ask us to obtain pricing or arrange a service, we may disclose the business contact details, organization information, requirements, and technical or service specifications reasonably necessary for the relevant vendor, distributor, carrier, or supplier to fulfill that request. This is purpose-limited coordination, not permission for the vendor's own marketing. A mobile callback number may be provided only when you authorize its use for the specific request; SMS subscription status, opt-in records, and consent are not disclosed to quoting vendors.
Other limited disclosures: We may disclose information with your authorization, to comply with law or valid legal process, or as reasonably necessary to protect safety, prevent fraud, and establish or defend legal rights. A business reorganization or transfer may require a lawful transfer of records, subject to applicable privacy obligations and the SMS restrictions below. These provisions do not authorize a transfer of SMS consent for someone else's marketing.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or transfer SMS subscriber information, opt-in data, or consent for another business's marketing.
All of the sharing categories described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent. This information will not be shared with any third parties, except aggregators and providers of text messaging services as necessary to deliver and support our SMS program. Support-service providers may process necessary information on our behalf to deliver those services, not for their own marketing.
Any SMS consent you give is specific to Evolv IT and the stated messaging purpose. Supplying a phone number, requesting a quote, submitting a form, using chat, accepting website Terms, or reading this policy does not, by itself, consent to marketing texts. Where required, marketing texts require your separate express written consent. Consent to SMS is not a condition of purchasing products or services.
If you have opted in, you may receive the message types disclosed at opt-in, such as requested updates, appointment reminders, customer support messages, newsletter tips, or promotional offers. Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from maintaining the minimum suppression and consent records necessary to honor your choices and meet legal requirements. New or materially different marketing consent must be obtained separately where required; policy changes do not create it.
Our website and third-party tools may use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, session storage, and similar technologies to support functionality, chat, measurement, and marketing attribution. Some first-party measurement uses browser-stored identifiers rather than cookies. Blocking cookies alone may not stop every form of measurement.
Not all analytics are anonymous or aggregate-only. When you follow an email or CRM link containing a contact identifier, submit a form, or otherwise identify yourself, we may associate website visits, earlier recorded activity, later visits, and conversion events with your contact record. This helps us understand your interests, respond to inquiries, and measure communications. Browser and device changes, blocked storage, or shared devices can affect attribution.
Use browser controls to manage storage and third-party tracking, and contact us about privacy choices. The site does not currently respond differently to the browser's legacy Do Not Track setting. This notice is not a cookie consent mechanism and does not itself obtain permission for nonessential tracking where law requires prior consent.
We may use business contact information to market Evolv IT's own services as allowed by law. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using their unsubscribe link or contact us to request removal. For SMS, use STOP or another reasonable opt-out method. Automated or prerecorded marketing calls and marketing texts require any consent applicable law demands; a business inquiry is not blanket permission for those communications.
We process preference changes as required by law. Marketing opt-outs do not necessarily stop essential non-marketing communications you request or that are legally permitted, but we do not treat an opt-out as permission to continue a stopped SMS program.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, taking account of active relationships, requested quotes, recruiting, legal and accounting obligations, disputes, and consent or suppression records. We may delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed, subject to lawful retention requirements and backup processes.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information and its use. No website, system, or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please contact us if you believe information sent to us has been compromised.
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your information; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; or opt out of certain advertising or disclosures. Some laws define "sale" or "sharing" more broadly than a payment for information. We do not sell contact lists, and you can contact us about any applicable opt-out rights relating to measurement or marketing technologies.
Send requests to hello@evolv.us or the address below. We may reasonably verify your identity and an authorized agent's authority before responding. Rights may have exceptions, including legal retention and the rights of others. Where applicable, you may appeal a decision or complain to your privacy regulator. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.
We are a United States business and information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. Privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Where applicable, processing may rely on consent, steps you request toward a contract, performance of a contract, legal obligations, or legitimate interests subject to your rights. International transfers remain subject to any safeguards required by applicable law; visiting the website alone is not a substitute for required transfer safeguards.
Our website is directed to business users aged 18 or older, not children. We do not knowingly collect children's information through these channels. Contact us if you believe a child submitted information so we can address it appropriately.
Third-party websites, vendor services, and external tools may have their own privacy notices. A link does not mean their practices are covered by this policy. Information a vendor collects directly is subject to its applicable notice and your choices; our purpose-limited disclosure does not authorize unrelated vendor marketing.
We may update this policy and will change its effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law. An update or continued website use does not supply new SMS marketing consent or waive your statutory rights.
